No cheats May!
I was terrible this weekend with my cheat meal. It was completely unnecessary to indulge the amount that I did. No turning back now, though.
I want to go the entire month of May without cheats and June I guess. No more cheats until after the Adela Garcia! (June 22nd)

10 Weeks Til The Adela Garcia Classic!
I’m feeling good! I’m now going to cut out cheat meals for a few weeks to see how that goes. I’ve also now taken oil out of my cooking, coconut and extra virgin olive oil, and instead have been cooking my chicken in water. (Yummmm….not.)

Comp Prep Diaries: 81 Days Out
Today was Day 1, did a nice delt workout, supersetting every exercise with plyo. I tend to make it up as I go, depending on how I feel that day, so I did some:

SUPER EXCITED.
Difference in competition diet than my current diet?
Mainly just cutting out the fun stuff: egg whites instead of eggs, less frequent carbs, no cheese, no turkey bacon, less fruit, more veggies, more protein! Oh and more CARDIO. (Bane of my existence right there.)

FAQ: What to do when your friends do not support...
I get this question quite often, and it’s really tough.
I was just over 21 years old when I started to get ‘into’ fitness. Guess what I was surrounded by CONSTANTLY? Alcohol. Bars. Clubs. Dancing that was virtually impossible without the assistance of said alcohol.
So when I attempted to ease into a life of fitness, I quickly realized who my ‘real friends’ were. Sad...

Increasing cardio
And drinking tons of water to get rid of this water weight!! Maybe I’ll sit in the sauna for 3 days to just sweat it all out.
I never understand why people do ‘detoxes’ with fruit and veggie smoothies or pills, etc. Just drink WATER. Drink LOTS of it. That’s my cheap and easy alternative at least.
Also, trying to throw in some more cardio because I neglect it oh-so-often....

I know I’m only working the expo, it’s not like I’m competing. But I don’t feel like I am where I should be. My diet is SLIPPING and slipping often. I feel good about my body, I’m in the best shape of my life for heaven’s sake, but I just don’t feel goodĀ enough,Ā for a bodybuilding competition of this magnitude. Everyone is going to be there.
